My boss has been trying to catch ppl on pte MSN, pte surfing of net so trying to lie low for a while... but of cos he can do nothing much to me afterall i m leaving.

Lots of things have happened...

Lemme just summarise it short and sweet a lil' in case u guys doze off.

Firstly, a piece of good news to share. I went for the banking industry to try my luck and just when i tot i couldnt make it they called me up for an offer. I was overwhelmed... Even more to my amazement was that they offered slightly more then my expected pay. How excited~!! (No OT but an allowances of $22 if we worked beyond 2 hrs of normal working hrs. Still not to bad...as least better compared to my current company here)

My position: Associate Officer(in fact simply put = kinda teller job)

Still it doesnt matter cause e pay isnt that bad...plus i ve always have a keen interest in banking industry so starting from low level in order to familiarise myself isnt such big deal. Hopefully i will endure through...

Will be going down on Wed to sign letter of offer. Let's just pray and hope that everything will goes smooth sailing for me in my new career.

Yesterday went with Dear and his family to his bro-in-law father 80th birthday at Spring Court located opposite Chinatown Point. They booked a total of 3 tables and we chose to sit at the farest end. (good choice) Didnt want to turn up initially and Dear could actually sensed it and told me himself that if i really dont feel comfortable then dont force myself to go. But...his sister has already "send" the invitation over to me and if i dont turn up she might most probably think that i m so "da pai". Apparently, i dont want to give her such a bad first impression on me so no choice couldnt reject her kind invitation so yea, i promised Dear that i will turn up with him.

Anyway, yup the food there was nice... i felt so out of place. Dear told me that it was held at some hotels making me dressed up so nicely but end up it was just a restaurant... =_="

Wanted to chip in some money for the Ang Pow but Dear said it's ok. He has included my share in for me and all i nid to do is just to turn up with him. =D

During the dinner when Dear was away for a short while(not sure toilet break or he just went off), his mother suddenly chatted with me saying that she hopes his son will get married and have kids by next year so that she can still look after the kids while she still can. I was like "huh??" *sweating* x__x"

Feeling the pressure and stress is on me now...afterall both Dear's elder and younger sister both married with kids & he's the only son. (Even thou i set myself a target to marry by the age of 25-26, but as long i haven got to know e person well enuff i also wont nod my head so soon too. This is all happening just too fast le lah! Haizzz... )

Alright alright...i cant think of anything else to write anymore. Updating this blog in a sick mood cos i have just vomitted all my food out. Mind's a total blank...

This week upcoming schedule:

Wed
Half day noon leave to sign letter of offer following on meeting a new fren (got to know her while liasing with her as a supplier-customer relations).
Was surprise to know that we are of the same age and we get along pretty well... Orchard Road la kopi session hor Apple. Don't forget. >_<

Alright, time to head home now after work for a rest... weak and sick.
