I can't wait i can't wait for our new house... Had browse thru some of the renovation books which Hubby bought and we sat down together to had some discussions before agreeing on some of the ideas. This time round, hard as we try to crack our brain to minise maximum efforts using minimal money it will still costs quite a lot. Sighs....the "after-effects" of a marriage should i say? Hmm...

Had a small argumentation with Hubby but everything's over now. Yeah, was a bit displeased again. Attended a small presentation talk in which Hubby wanted to attend cause he received a call saying that he won a free air tickets to Thailand/ Hong Kong. Told him that it was a scam but he don't believe. Therefore i attended the "presentation talk" with him. I kept alerting n reminding him to stay high alert and DO NOT sign up for anything.

Luckily, we both remained very alert and rejected their offer to sign up on their what-eva so called membership package. The "consultant" changed his face very fast. Apparently there were so many easy loop holes to screen for to know that it was a scam.

1st, company indicated at office directory on 1st level differs from the actual office above. Something fishy, we both thought. 2nd, we were told to switch our handphones off totally. Another point suspicious. Why? Afraid that we were to video taped or record any of your "trying -to-cheat" us conversation??

3rd, when finally came to the main point, which is to persuade us to sign up on the VIP membership, the cost for signing up today was $14,888. We told him that we didnt have enough money any more as we just bought our house and we have more commitments coming up. The "consultant" called for his manager and manager offered a lower "package" to $5000. Immediately, we rejected on his offer again as we tried very hard to explained that we both really do not have enought money due to the many commitments we had. Yet again this "consultant" called for his manager (which by now the manager started to show signs of frustration and displeasure") came and offered us one last final offer of the price of $3000.

Uh-hah, there u got it. Last suspicious point isnt it??! How is it possible that your so-called "membership" could go to such a great amount difference from $14,888 to $3,000 if it isnt what u claimed to be a scam??!

To all readers/ dear friends out here reading on my blog entry now... PLS do keep a clear mind and stay on your high alert. Observe the surroundings and look out for tell tale signs of suspicious loop holes. Do NOT believe in whatever bullshit they persuade you on even thou it may realli looks attractive and convincing.

After which, we head down to ION at Orchard... Wee... went in to walk..Wow, we almost lost our directions towards the MRT (time to return home). We walked around the malls a bit going into Louis Vuitton, LongChamp, Burberry etc to take a look.

Call me "suaku" or mountain tortoise because it was really my first time stepping into these branded stores and oh my goodness, it was a grand sight at Louis Vuitton. All their sales staff looked as thou they are working as "bouncers" in clubs. The blazers, the ear piece and the gloves (for some). They even had someone opening and holding the doors for you. Such prestige service... wow. Anyway, the stuffs were realli expensive. Took a peep at the price tag of a simple dress and guess how much it was? $4,000++. GOODNESS!!

All in all, it was a fun experience shopping at ION exploring most of the branded shops. I "pyscho" Hubby to buy a LV bag for me if i ever get the dream job which i ve been wanting to give it a try (details below)... Lolx..
