Dilemma situations always seems to be around..be it work, frens, r'ships etc etc...e main problem is : "Do u always have a win-win solutions?" "Can't we have both sides of the world?"Answer is "NO, u cant have both good sides of the world. Nobody can."
Well u might raise objections...lets state an example. In a relationship, u r caught between two guys/girls. Both are just as nice...who will you actually choose?
This point of time u might think :" Hmm...since so difficult to choose, cant i just date e two of them at one time?"
Well...of cos yes u may date both at one time...meaning "two-timed". But ever tot of e consequences of being caught red-handed, both of them threatened to break up & eventually u end up having none of them?
Now does it sounds good or bad? Now u may think. Think twice.
I am now experiencing it in my work...
Since e day when i was transferred to my new dept here in level 5, i ve always wished for my commitment term here will end as soon as possible n returned back to my prev dept at level 7 (if given a chance) but i ve since come to tems with it and accepted the fact that i m not able to return back cos they ve already employed another temp staff...
When i met up my prev dept colleagues n HOD(Head of Department) out for lunch today, my "wish" actually came true. Unbelievable. However, i realised that there are a few factors to be taken into consideration.
First : There's already a temp girl there. Either she goes(off) or i goes(up). I myself dun quite like e idea though...cos it may just seems like i 'm e "evil" one to have caused her to lose her job(though even thou it's just a temp job) n worse still is to pay a penalty for being "dismissed".
[FYI : Get e whole situation known that i did NOT bad-mouthed nor back-stabbed her in order for me to get myself transferred back to my prev dept. Apparently, they doesnt seems to approve of her work attitude.]
Yeah i noe how one have to be tough in terms of work life...either u be tough n have u eating people up or u end up being eaten up by other people. It's just a realistic world out there.
Secondly, i've always been on e lookout for a permaneant job. Have tried with four companies by sending out my resumes and now awaiting for good news(hopefully). If everything turns out well i cant possibly be working with them any longer which i'm rather quite worried cos i cant possibly give them my words regarding my duration of time commitment with them in which failure to do so...
i guess it's too late to ask anyone for advice now cos i have to give them an answer by evening....
